Hoping someone still looks at theses boards. Need recommendations for landscapers who can plant some large trees along my fence line near the pool. Stupid neighbor cut down EVERY tree in their back yard. Totally disgusted with the destruction they did. Thanks for any help

Fever's Holiday Food Drive to Benefit the Houston Food Bank

Last year, we donated several thousand pounds of food to the Houston Food Bank during the holiday season! During this ecomony, there are families out there that need help. We would like to increase our donations ten fold! We are starting a food drive at First Choice Emergency Room beginning Nov. 21st and going thru Dec. 22nd. There will be intermediate pickups and deliveries to the food bank. Please consider donating non perishables. The Woodlands currently has public transit in various shapes and forms. Join us in learning more about these programs and services from Bryan Brown, a consultant with The Goodman Corporation (TGC). TGC has been involved many phases of The Woodlands transportation planning.

Bring your ideas about what we need in the future to meet growing community needs. Perhaps interesting dialogue and discussion will lead to something tangible—remember that the idea for The Woodlands’s designation as a Bicycle Friendly Community began at a Going Green meeting.

New Recycling Carts coming!

Yay!!! The new recycling carts should be delivered either in December or January to replace the 18 gallon bins we currently have. The new ones are 96 gallon, have wheels and lids. No paper blowing away down the street, no smooshed ick from rain, no employees tossing the bins into ditches!

These are the same size as the trash carts but since so much more is accepted as recyclable at curbside, we don't need such large trashcans.

99% of people that I've talked to are happy about the new carts. I'll still encounter the few that, no matter what, assign a political value to the act of recycling. I'm glad they're in the minority! They may think it's a 'liberal' agenda. Yeesh....

Anyway, here's a conversation. So uh....there ya go.
